PAC:  Just what is PAC? It’s a parent-led organization whose main purpose is to support and promote involvement in the City Garden Montessori School and its community. This includes support of our students, guides, administration, and each other. Every parent or legal guardian is automatically a member of PAC and can vote in the annual executive officer elections and/or votes pertaining to the committee and/or it’s sub-committees and by-laws. We welcome all levels of involvement in PAC!

The PAC Officers are:

President: Kim Dixon

Vice President: Jim Reid

Secretary: Heather Rice

Treasurer: Roni Rodgers

Staff Liaison: Principal Dr. Nicole Evans

Past President:

Bill Burge

Member at Large:

Amanda Gilliom

The three PAC Led Committees are:

  • ABAR (Anti Bias – Anti Racist) Committee
  • Classroom and Guide Support Committee
  • Social Engagement Committee

The PAC Leadership Committee consists of: the four elected officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer), the ABAR Committee Chair, the Classroom and Guide Support Chair, the Social Engagement Chairs, the Past President, Members at Large, and the school principal, Dr. Evans, who is our committee’s school liaison. We meet once a month for our PAC Leadership Business Meeting on the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted on the calendar located on the school website. The first 15 minutes of the meeting are reserved for open comments from any parent who wishes to attend. The rest of the meeting is agenda-specific and includes reporting from PAC sub-committees.

The All Parent PAC Meetings and Socials occur about 3-4 times a year and are marked on the school calendar. The school provides free childcare and pizza for the kids at these events or meetings.

We have our own closed Facebook page! You must be a current City Garden parent or legal guardian to join. You must use your real name for your account; sorry no aliases allowed.
