Dear City Garden Community,
As Christie Huck wrote in her recent newsletter to the community, "though we strive to build Black history into our curriculum throughout the school year, during February, we take extra time to learn about and celebrate the extraordinary contributions of Black St. Louisans and Black Americans, recognizing that there is much history that is often excluded."
And in honor of of Black History Month, I am pleased to present City Garden Montessori School's 2022 Virtual Black History Month Program!
I am so proud of our students for their enriching contributions to this program. I am also so grateful to our staff for their leadership in coordinating all of the exciting experiences, lessons, field trips, and more!
